This is an opportunity to open doors to an exciting career! Our professional pilot program is designed to help you achieve your goal of becoming a professional pilot. We offer training programs to fit your needs, accelerated and at your own pace. We are here to help you get out into the workforce and into the job you want! (Pricing does not include the optional price of ground school or flight kits.)

As a prerequisite to getting your pilot certificate you will need at least a third class medical. We recommend you get this prior to or immediately after starting training.

Training Programs and Certifications

Your First Step Into Aviation

This is the first step in beginning your aviation career. This certificate gives you the privilege of flight! You can choose to do this training in a Cessna 152 or Cessna 172. You will get a solid foundation of aviation knowledge during this training. You will learn about your aircraft and aircraft systems, navigation, weather, aeronautical decision making, and much more!

Training Requirements:

  • Aircraft Rental: 55 hours at $185/hour = $10,175
  • Flight Instruction: 40 hours at $65/hour = $2,600
  • Ground Instruction: 15 hours at $65/hour = $975
  • Written Exam: $175
  • Practical Exam: $800
  • Total Program Cost: $14,725
Accelerated Pilot Training

Expand Your Flying Capabilities

The instrument rating will expand your knowledge on navigation systems and the ATC system. You will fly a Cessna 172 equipped with an Aspen 1000 and Garmin 650. This rating will make you a precise pilot and better equipped and knowledgeable to fly within the IFR/ATC system.

Training Requirements:

  • Cessna 172 Rental: 35 hours at $185/hour = $6,475
  • Flight Simulator: 15 hours at $75/hour = $1,125
  • Flight Instruction: 50 hours at $65/hour = $3,250
  • Ground Instruction: 15 hours at $65/hour = $975
  • Written Exam: $175
  • Practical Exam: $800
  • Total Program Cost: $12,800

Your Gateway to Professional Aviation

The commercial certificate is key in getting your dream job as a pilot. You must hold a commercial certificate in order to be paid as a pilot. Our professional commercial program includes obtaining both your commercial single-engine and commercial multi-engine certificates. Multi-engine and complex flight training is completed in the Cessna 310. Students may choose to complete the single engine option only, using the R182 for complex training.

Single & Multi-Engine Training Requirements:

  • Cessna 172 Rental: 110 hours at $185/hour = $20,350
  • Cessna 310 Rental: 11.5 hours at $545/hour = $6,268
  • Flight Instruction: 48 hours at $65/hour = $3,120
  • Flight Training: 52 hours at $65/hour = $3,380
  • Ground Instruction: 15 hours at $65/hour = $975
  • Written Exam: $175
  • Practical Exam (C172): $800
  • Practical Exam (C310): $1,000
  • Total Program Cost: $36,068

Rental costs include Advanced Instruction. Flight Training calculated as Dual, can be completed as solo time.

Develop Your Teaching Skills

The certified flight instructor certificate is a great way to expand your knowledge. Although you already have much of the knowledge this training helps to develop your teaching skills. You spend time in the classroom discussing topics in depth beyond the private pilot and commercial levels. This is one of the most rewarding certificates to attain!

CFI Training Requirements:

  • Cessna 172 Rental: 5 hours at $185/hour = $925
  • Cessna 172 Rental: 1 hour at $185/hour = $185
  • Flight Instruction: 6 hours at $80/hour = $480
  • Ground Instruction: 30 hours at $80/hour = $2,400
  • Written Exam: 2 hours at $175/hour = $350
  • Practical Exam: $1,500
  • Total CFI Program Cost: $5,840

C172 rental used for spin training if needed.

Master Instrument Instruction

The certified flight instructor-instrument is a wonderful addition to the CFI. This can be done in a short amount of time. Not only will you find more instructional opportunities with this certificate but you will also gain more proficiency in the IFR environment!

CFII Training Requirements:

  • Cessna 172 Rental: 5 hours at $185/hour = $925
  • Flight Instruction: 5 hours at $80/hour = $400
  • Ground Instruction: 10 hours at $80/hour = $800
  • Written Exam: $175
  • Practical Exam: $800
  • Total CFII Program Cost: $3,100

Advance to Multi-Engine Instruction

The multi-engine instructor rating can be beneficial in helping you attain pilot in command time in a multi-engine airplane. Choice uses a Cessna 310 during this training and you can accomplish this in a very short period of time! A minimum of 15 hours PIC in a multi engine airplane is required, your time in the C310 can be lower if you have previous multi engine PIC time.

MEI Training Requirements:

  • Cessna 310 Rental: 17 hours at $465/hour = $7,905
  • Flight Instruction: 15 hours at $80/hour = $1,200
  • Ground Instruction: 10 hours at $80/hour = $800
  • Practical Exam: $1,000
  • Total MEI Program Cost: $10,905

(2 hours of rental time added for check-ride preparation)
