Line Tech: This is a full time, year around job with benefits! This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly and efficient working environment and culture that is conducive of uncompromising safety, exceptional customer service and genuine passion. Line services include but are not limited to:

• Aircraft Fueling, Towing, Marshalling and Servicing/Handling;
• Passenger and Flight Crew accommodations.
• Facility & Grounds Maintenance
• Quality Control and PMI Maintenance
• Aircraft and Vehicle detail
• Daily Airfield Inspection & Maintenance as well as keeping NOTAMs current
• Snow Removal and Mowing operations based upon season

Lineman are responsible for ensuring that they are properly trained and qualified to perform duties as assigned in accordance with regulatory and compliance standards as well as company policy. Choice Aviation does operate 7 days a week so varying work shifts and call out would be required. FULL-TIME OPENINGS AT West Yellowstone, MT

Line Tech: This is a fun summer job that runs May through October. Job Description: greet, park, tow, fuel, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp. This position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills. Choice Aviation does operate 7 days a week so varying work shifts and call out would be required. Job duties:

Normal duties include but are not limited to routine inspections, corrective actions, basic troubleshooting, replacement, alterations, and repair of aircraft and their systems.

Work schedule:

Normal work hours are Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Experience Requirements:

Above all else, we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude with a good work ethic.  Having proficient troubleshooting skills with experience inspecting airframe and engines, performing alterations, and replacing parts and components is a plus.

License Requirements:

Must have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.  Inspection Authorization Rating or the ability to obtain an IA within three (3) months a plus

FULL-TIME Flight Instructor – Cody, WY/Hamilton, MT

Flight Instructors responsibilities:

Flight instructors instruct students in classroom settings, conduct training flights, determine student proficiency and report on student progress. Flight instructors are responsible for training students in subjects such as risk management, aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics.  They will also ensure students understand and practice all aspects of Choice Aviation’s policies and safety procedures.

1. Professional – Act, appear, and communicate in a professional manner at all times
2. Knowledgeable – Helpful to students and renters and assist them with any questions
3. Accessible – at the school or by phone during the time training is given for an approved course

Schedule

All Flight Instructors must be available for duty Monday – Saturday. This means that you must be available to fly with a student on any day Monday through Saturday.

All full-time pilots must, in addition to flight instructing, perform the below listed duties:

1. Take phone calls from potential students and schedule flights for students or renters.
2. Provide introductory flights.
3. Keep student records up to date.
4. Ensure planes are in clean order.
5. Recommend curriculum development and/or improvement.
6. 60 flight hours per month is minimum required for each full-time flight instructor, when this cannot be maintained, report to supervisor.
7. Meet with supervisor weekly to report progress.
8. Assist Chief/Assistant Flight Instructor in duties as assigned.

The flight school is closed Sundays and instructors will be free of all duties and responsibilities.

Assistant Chief Pilot – Hamilton, Montana (HRF)

Qualifications / Experience:

• Required Qualifications / Experience
  • Hold an FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Category certificate with both single-engine and multi-engine ratings
  • Current First or Second Class medical
  • FCC Radio Permit
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; including overnights away from base
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No past or pending FAA violations or full explanation of circumstances
  • Flight Time
    • 3000 Total Time
    • 1000 PIC
    • 500 Multi-Engine
    • 100 Turbine
• Desired Qualifications / Experience
  • 3 years experience in FAR 121 or FAR 135 operations

Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Chief Pilot reports to the Chief Pilot
• Manages, supervises, and observes flight crew personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Coordinates with the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot concerning company operational policies and procedures
• Day to day management of flight crews to ensure they operate in compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations
• Monitors crew scheduling to ensure compliance with company policy and FAA regulations
• Ensures day-to-day flight operations and records comply with applicable company, FAA, and other regulations
