This location is one mile east of Hamilton in the heart of Montana’s beautiful Bitterroot Valley. The area offers many recreational opportunities and is located along the original Lewis and Clark expedition trail. We take great pride in our fueling operations. Choice FBO’s adheres to ATA 103 & NFPA standards, in addition to local, state, and federal regulations. This means our fuel is sumped on a daily basis to ensure spotless fuel is being delivered into your aircraft. Our fuel trucks are combed over each morning and our line techs are trained and experienced on almost all corporate and general aviation aircraft.
We understand the need for competitive fuel pricing. At the same time, our prices reflect the many complimentary services offered with your fuel purchase. Rates on average are $0.08 less than the average Rocky Mountain region pricing and contract pricing is $0.28 less than our competitors. We do offer volume and contract pricing for those purchases of $200+ of fuel. Choice has teamed up with the following contract providers; AIRCard, Avcard, Avfuel, Colt, Everst, MultiService, Uvair, & World Fuel services.

Boating, Canoeing and Rafting:
The Bitterroot River offers over 76 miles of floatable river from 6 miles south of Darby all the way to Missoula. The Salmon River, a great whitewater rafting destination, is just 90 miles south of Hamilton. Lake Como and Painted Rocks Reservoir are popular spots for canoes, jet skis, fishing boats, ski boats and everything in between.

Fishing:
Famous for its dry fly trout fishing, and boasting 22+ in. Browns during heavy spring Skwala hatches, the Bitterroot offers one hundred miles of fishable river, 11+ fishing access sites and some of the most pristine fishing areas in Montana. Lake fishing is also available at Lake Como and Painted Rocks Reservoir. Hunting:
At the Bitterroot Valley’s back door is a hunter’s paradise. Big game species include elk, bear, white tail and mule deer, mountain lion and moose. Birds include pheasant, grouse, duck and geese.
Winter Sports:
Lost Trail Powder Mountain usually
accumulates the greatest snow depth in Montana
making it one of the best downhill slopes in the
state. Our cross-country skiing is some of the
best in Montana along miles and miles of
Nordic and snowmobile trails.

Wildlife photographers, birders and hunters are attracted to the area by the variety and abundance of our wildlife species. The Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, Teller Wildlife Refuge, Broad Axe and Skalkaho Wildlife Preserve are wonderful destinations for wildlife viewing.
