Commercial Pilot Requirements (per Part 141)

Dual: 55 hours of flight training from a certified instructor this includes:

~10 hours of instrument training
~10 hours of training in an airplane with retractable landing gear, flaps, and controllable pitch propeller
~One 2-hour daytime cross country, with a straight line distance of more than 100nm
~One 2-hour nighttime cross country, with a straight line distance of more than 100nm
~3 hours of flight training within 2 calendar months of your practical test

 Solo: 10 hours of solo flight time consisting of:

~One cross country flight with landings at 3 points, and one segment of flight consisting of a straight line distance of at least 250nm
~5 hours in night VFR conditions with 10 takeoffs and landings at an airport with an operating control tower
